Sculpture Without Walls, a public art program, is an annual yearlong outdoor sculpture exhibit. Cannon Beach, which has long been considered an arts community and is perched at the edge of the Pacific Ocean, provides a magnificent backdrop for outdoor sculpture. Exhibits display from April 1 to April 1 of the following year. Sculptures are chosen by a panel of jurors and installed in prominent outdoor locations in Cannon Beach. One sculpture, the winner of "the Peoples Choice Award", a popular vote, will be purchased for up to $15,000 and become a permanent part of the City's public art collection.
