Hello, Cannon Beach Farmers Market Friends!
The Cannon Beach Farmers Market is open Tuesday, August, 14th. Our vendors will have a wide variety of produce, meats, cheeses, flowers and artisan foods. Our community booths will feature Sunset Empire Transportation District and Friends of Haystack Rock. Live music will be from 1-5 pm performed by artists Dave Quinton and Brad Griswold. Come out, dine alfresco with our prepared food vendors, Roll & Bowl and Community Supported Fishery ( they are ready to serve at 12 noon), enjoy the sun, food, music, shopping and fun!
Market is located in the City Hall parking lot, corner of Hemlock and Gower Street.

Vendor Spotlight
Elaine from Fosse Farms brings a wonderful blend of organic oil, sweetened berries, garlic, and herbs to market. Her mainades and dressings are great on salads, pastas, and makes a terrific marinade. Their company also offers shrub vinegars - a concentrated vinegar you can use for cooking, cocktails, or marinades. Stop by her booth for a refreshing taste!
Some folks swear by the natural healing abilities of the fresh ingredients and tender loving care Elaine captures in every bottle of dressing!
Garlic has been found to have natural anti-microbial, antiseptic, and anti-viral properties and assists in the reduction of blood pressure and cholesterol.
Olive Oil is monounsaturated with a beneficial effect on blood cholesterol levels. Studies indicate olive oil may help lower the risk of cardiovascular disease. Olives contain the antioxidant Vitamin E.

Blackberries: a tonic herb high in Vitamins C and E anthrocyanocides, pectin and the mineral selenium, blackberries may be helpful in reducing sugar levels and macular degeneration.
