Over the years the City has had a number of Ad Hoc Committees to address specific issues. Current & Previous Ad Hoc Committees are listed below.

CBE School Rejuvenation Research Advisory Committee

This ad hoc committee was established by City Council in May 2023 to research use & operations of the city owned facility. They will report their findings to Council.

Business Relief Committee

This ad hoc committee was established by the City Council in April 2020 to design and recommend an application and criteria for local businesses to apply for City funds to assist during the COVID-19 outbreak. They meet as needed. The committee completed their tasks and was disbanded.

Short Term Rental Task Force

The City Council created the ad hoc Short-Term Rental Task Force by Resolution 19-10 on October 1, 2019. The Task Force will consist of 11 citizens and meet over an extended period of time to review and possibly make changes to the existing Short-Term Rental program. The City Council established this independent citizen group to review the program prior to opening the discussion to the citizenry. This advisory committee will report its findings and suggestions to the City Council. The committee completed their tasks and was disbanded.
