PLANNED POWER OUTAGE – June 12th/13th – Citywide Service Interruption

When:  Overnight on June 12th-13th – 12:01AM to 6AM

Where:  Citywide

The release provided by Pacific Power:

“Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) has requested that Pacific Power de-energize the Cannon Beach substation to accommodate work on the BPA transmission system. This outage is anticipated to occur overnight from June 12–13, approximately 12:01 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., and will result in a citywide service interruption lasting 5–6 hours.

 

While this work is currently scheduled, timing remains subject to change. BPA is required to notify Pacific Power in order to allow us to provide at least 48 hours’ notice via individual customer outbound calls/ communication (depending on customer preference) once the outage is confirmed. Please note this is a BPA transmission request to Pacific Power that we are required to accommodate. Pacific Power will provide confirmation and any updated details as soon as they are available.”
